About Us East Coast Photography was founded by two chaps in the winter of 2007. They had high hopes of pushing their photography, spending more time with their cameras and meeting some new people along the way. These days, our small army is all about enjoying photography and all the aspects of it. We consider ourselves more of a society rather than a "club". We began with a typical "club" meeting every 2 weeks, but it just didn't seem to work for us. So we broke free and it opened up all kinds of doors for everyone. Now we frequently take group camera walks, meet up to talk photography, hit the library for a history session.... or even plan small weekend getaways and workshops. Style East Coast Photography is designed so that members can involve themselves as much or as little as they wish. The club is broken down into different aspects of photography and is dispersed though-out the whole month so hopefully you won't feel pressured to have a huge amount of photos and material to show up with.
